What does single-processor vs multi-processor mean?

It refers to how the license is configured relative to computing resources used to run analyses. The appropriate option depends on your workflow.

Is Maintenance mandatory?

Maintenance is optional. To continue receiving upgrades and technical support after the first year, maintenance must be renewed at Silver or Gold.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

Typical response time is 1–2 business days after receiving the required information.

To buy an Academic or Educational license, do I need to provide proof of academic status?

Yes, in order to purchase an Academic or Educational License, we must receive proof of academic status. We understand that universities around the world have different systems, so we are flexible on what we will accept as proof. It could be a copy of a current student or staff ID, a copy of your class list, a link to a university webpage staff or student directory, etc. During the purchase process, we also require you to download, sign, and email back to us the Declaration of Academic Use form, in which you declare that you will not use the software for commercial purposes. We will not activate your license until we receive the signed declaration. We also recognize that there may be private individuals who don’t want a commercial license but may not be associated with a university. We ask that these individuals contact us and explain their situation. We can make exceptions under certain circumstances.
