System Requirements
Below you can find the recommended hardware and software requirements to ensure stable performance, efficient operation, and full compatibility with the application.

OpenSees Solver Setup
STKO requires an OpenSees solver to run analyses. After installing STKO, you will also need to install or compile a compatible OpenSees executable and make it available to the software.
Raccomanded Option
For most users, the recommended choice is the build compiled by Prof. Nicola Tarque (UPM), as it includes both sequential and parallel OpenSees versions and already covers the dependencies needed for MPCO post-processing.

Solver detection
If OpenSees solvers are installed in C:\OpenSees-Solvers, STKO will detect them automatically. Otherwise, you can specify their location manually using the Kits command in STKO.
MPCO / HDF5 dependency
If you want to use the MPCO Recorder for post-processing in STKO, HDF5 1.10.1 DLLs must be installed in a location visible to the OpenSees solver. The UPM build by Prof. Nicola Tarque already includes the required dependencies.
