Macroscopic uniaxial steel model

  • This webinar introduces ASDPlasticMaterial, a versatile suite of elasto-plastic constitutive models recently integrated into the OpenSees framework. The ASDPlasticMaterial family of constitutive models enhances the simulation capabilities of OpenSees by allowing users to customize models through a selection of yield functions, plastic-flow directions, elasticity laws, and hardening models for internal variables. Through a series of practical examples, we will demonstrate the application of ASDPlasticMaterial in OpenSeesPy and the STKO constitutive tool. The webinar will conclude with a discussion on solving boundary-value problems, showing the robustness, performance and adaptability of the new models.
